Jay Akers’ chopped 72 Chevy K5 Blazer (with a 67 front clip) is looking brand new after a ceramic coat and detail from North ATL Customs down in Gainesville. This Blazer was built 4 years ago in California, on a one-off Chopping Block Customs chassis. The 5.3 LS motor in this K5 offers plenty of power for cruising, and can get anywhere in a hurry if need be. The QA1 suspension and Accuair air ride offers plenty of altitude adjustment, whether you want it to lay frame, or sit a little bit higher when cruising. These custom Raceline wheels match the steering wheel, which is an awesome detail that I didn’t notice until Jay told me.
Other specifics include: A Winters rear end, Porterbuilt upper and lower control arms, and the dashboard from a 1959 Impala.
